Steel Building Prices: What are You Paying For?

When it comes to a custom steel or metal building, there are countless options and features you can add to make your steel building exactly what you need. But when going through the steel building selection process, you might be wondering: What exactly am I paying for?

For starters, even the most simple of our steel buildings come with a 20-year rust free frame warranty, so you can rest assured that your building will not show any signs of wear in the near future. Our buildings also feature a 150 mph wind load, so you can rest assured a strong storm won’t leave your building bent out of shape. Also, we coordinate with the necessary third parties to come out and lay the concrete slab for your building, saving you time and hassle.

If you are looking for a simple steel structure, such as a carport or an RV cover that doesn’t need walls, windows, or doors, you can purchase one of these buildings for around $800. Something like this would be 12 x 21 x 5, which is perfect if you need something simple to shield your care or boat from the elements.

Another step up from that would be a utility carport, which is a carport that also features an attached, enclosed storage building. Our utility carport starts at 18 x 31 and features a 10’ enclosure with a 6 x 6 roll up door and 6-foot walls. A building like that would cost a little over $3,000, but would allow you to not only have a covered parking area, but also a storage building attached to it.

On the larger end of our pricing structure would be a custom steel storage building, complete with walls and a garage door. A building that’s 40 x 51 x 12 tall with those features would run nearly $20,000, significantly more expensive than a standard carport.

If you need a large building, but these prices are a bit outside of what you were expecting to pay for a steel building, there is the possibility of financing to help pay for your steel building. We offer both rent to own and traditional financing, so we can find an option that works with your needs.
